Post by *MartinezZ »

Hello :)

After update from 8.0ß1 TC cannot detect occupied space by pressing Space key. Only question mark is showed and its all. Even no sound of HDD work.

Here it works.
Did you try it with a fresh ini? Run:

Code: Select all

totalcmd.exe %temp%\fresh.ini

 Thats miracle

Thank you, with fresh ini is detecting used space working. So someone should close this false positive bug "report". Thanks again.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

MartinezZ, if it doesn't work with your INI but works with clean one, you may backup your INI and try to detect option that causes bug. Try to remove some sections/parameters and restart TC until it work. It will help to fix bug if it is really a bug. :)

After use fresh.ini I try a few times restart TC. After using fresh.ini I only once restart TC and detecting used space is working, so now working with my INI. And I don_t know why, but primary is that working. Something between heaven and hell, maybe :)

Well, it is an configurable option: Configuration -> Options... -> Operation -> "Calculate space occupied by subdirectories" -> "when selecting with space bar".

So maybe you have unknowingly changed that option whith your old wincmd.ini.
