[SOLVED, was not a TC bug] Crash when right clicking on disk

Post by *Cooperdale »

This is quite a strange bug: when I right click on a disk button other than C: (I'm talking about the ones just below the usual buttons) the program freezes and then crashes, both with x32 and x64.

This also happens if I right click on the folder bar, when I'm in a disk's main folder (L: for instance).

Now bear with me, here's the strange part: this doesn't happen if the first disk/folder I right click is C:, or if the first folder I right click is not a disk's main folder. So if I open TC and right click on C: or L:\stuff\, there will be no crash and I will be able to right click any disk button/main folder...

Oh, I'm on w7 64bit.

Not confirmed on Win Xp 32Bit - Please reinstall your OS and try again to make sure its a TC fault and not the fault of any other programm you are running.

Thanks, petermad, you were right (Sir_SiLvA, wasn't reinstalling a little drastic?). Sorry for not making a proper search first.

Sadly, the bad extension is very useful to me. It's an Alcohol 52% extension, I'll look for a new version to see if things work better.

EDIT: nope, they don't.

Ok, the solution was to disable the extension and create a link in TC toolbar which does the same thing as the extension.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
