ftp drag and drop from explorer

Post by *zakazak »

Hi, is there an option that I didn't see or is it simply not possible to drag and drop files from the explorer to the ftp or vice versa?

Thanks :)

Just curious - why do you need that feature - why not do it from inside TC?

I often browse around with the explorer and then already have the file folder opened. Then I would just run total commander, connect and drag & drop. Instead I now have to browser the folder with total commander first.

Also opening folders with the explorer is often much faster. E.g. "windows key", click on pictures. I surely could make the same shortcuts inside total commander but I'm also used to this way. Also as I'm working on two screens I often have files quickly saved to my desktop and then just drag & drop them on the ftp.

All in all I'm often already on the needed directory with explorer.exe.. so why browsing it again in total commander? ;P

OK - you use Explorer out of habit, and I avoid it out of habit. ;-)
