Help: how to drag&drop files like Explorer?
When trying to drag&drop a file from native explorer to another app, e.g. a skype chat window, i select a file in native exporer by holding left mouse key, and the skype chat window is still there. But if you do that from TC , when you click a file in TC, it is activiated at once and runs to the top of all wionodows, as a result, you can drag but no where to DROP. Althogh i found a solution: to drag a file to the task bar where the destination window is located until it shows up and then move to the window and release the mouse key. Can TC be configured to do this operation exactly like the explorer?

Just don't run TC maximized, then there is a chance it won't cover your drop window. Are you running Explorer maximized?

Actually, i have been waiting for this feature for. a long time. If TC does not have it, please add it.MVV wrote:petermad, if you haven't tried it with Explorer, try - it really doesn't brings browser window to front if you start dragging a file from it. But it brings window to front if you just activate it or select/deselect files. It is a non-standard behaviour, and I haven't noticed it until today.

Actually a nice feature...
I did try - but I had navigated to the file first, and then of course Explorer is in focus - but you are right if I am already in the wanted folder in Explorer and I then place the target application in front of Explorer in a way that I can still see the file, then I can drag it without focus getting shifted to Explorer.if you haven't tried it with Explorer, try

But you need to do extra drag and wait until taskbar button's window activated...wwzzqq wrote:when the "dragging" track goes to the icon of the running chat window on the system taskbar, the chat window can be activated too.

Yes, there are too much preparations... Select needed files, move TC window (restore if it is maximized)... Then move TC window back or maximize...petermad wrote:I did try - but I had navigated to the file first, and then of course Explorer is in focus - but you are right if I am already in the wanted folder in Explorer and I then place the target application in front of Explorer in a way that I can still see the file, then I can drag it without focus getting shifted to Explorer.
It is much faster to use Alt+Tab. You don't need to move any window, you don't need to wait. Just select files, start dragging them, choose any desired window via Alt+Tab (previously activated window needs only one Tab since windows are sorted by last active time in Alt+Tab list) and drop files.
I'm often drag files to Winamp window which is invisible. I start dragging files, press Win+/ (hotkey to show/hide Winamp window) and drop files into Winamp window, then I can press Win+/ again to hide it - pretty usable. Alt+Tab does almost the same thing but with any window.

You are right only when you are using right hand mouse, but the cooperation with left hand mouse and Alt+Tab is an awful experience, and I experience it dozens of times a day.MVV wrote:
