[Solved] Installer doesn't install from substed drive

Situation:
Create substed drive, e.g. D: "subst d: c:\xxxx\"
Download Total Commander 8.0 beta 17a.
Run it from total commander 7.56a.
You get "Search path not found!" message.
Installer works fine from when started from c:\xxxx\.

Windows Version?
UAC is active?
Do you see your substituted drive letter if you run TC 7.56 "As Administrator"?

The setup needs elevation, and substitutions seems to be user specific (like mapped network drive letters).

You are right. Starting Total commander as administrator and substing also for administrator solved the problem. Thanks

There is no [Close thread] or [Mark thread as solved] button available.
You might prefix "[Solved]" to the title of your first post in this thread, provided the thread title does not get longer than some uncertain maximum length in which case the forum software will relentlessly truncate it.
