now i have the tc7 x32 on my system. if i install the tc8 x64, does the installer will understand my previous release and keep my configuration and ftp password stored too ? or will i lost everything during the upgrade ?

Hi. If you installed your previous TC (not just extracted as a portable application), new TC will use the existing configuration files. That means, that all your settings, passwords, ... will be recognized.
Just a note: If you install just the 64b version of TC, your previous installation will not be replaced/upgraded. It will continue to work side by side with the new TC. But since they will use the same configuration files, any changed setting in your old TC will be reflected in your new TC too (and vice versa, if possible). If you wish to use both versions (32b and 64b), consider using the combined installer - it will install TC x64 and also upgrade your TC x32.
