Replacing files without a warning!! [archives]

Post by *dr.science »

If you extracting zip, rar, etc files there is no warning when those files exist in the destination folder. All files are replaced. One mistake and an important file is gone. Please, fix it.

Dr.science, please note the "Overwrite existing files" option in the "Unpack files" dialog.

And "Overwrite existing files" is disabled by default - so if it is enabled in your TC, you only have yourself to blame ;-)

Thank you fellows. I don't know how I could check that option. It was right after moving to the 8.0 version so I thought it was the TC bug. Thanks once again.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
