Recently I'm getting crashes when accessing certain Filesystem plugins.
I changed a lot of settings and updated al my plugins recently so I'm lost in finding the cure.
here is the crashreport:
note:
when continuing after the initial crash the filesystem plugins functions as expected. Seems like TC doens some kind of action before activating the plugin that causes the fault.
note2: happens with TC7.57a and TC8.0 (32)

Might be helpful to tell which filesystem plugins are affected.wenntel wrote:Recently I'm getting crashes when accessing certain Filesystem plugins.

Well, every filesystemplugin gives an error. The one above is from Acehelper.
I've update from 7.57a tot 8.0; added custom Menu's; cleaned out my ini files; updated 30+ plugins of all types. That why I can't really back-trace my steps to discover the problem.
With WLX plugins I noticed that SWF Lister was causing crash problems so I disable that one. With the WFX I still in the dark.
I don't think it the plugins themselves, because they used to work fine...I think it something in the configuration of TC...
BTW: win7x32

Ok,plroblem gone:
I opened and saved all my "Custom Colomns" entries from the configuration menu. Then renamed the WDX plugins directory back to original name. Now the crashes do not appear anymore.
So my theory is:
due to updating of plugins somehow the Custom Colomns entries became unvalid (due to maybe changed folder name of change label within plugin) and that caused the crashes beacuse TC checks if plugin has a Custom Colomns configuration when activated.

Thanks for your report. The crash was in a function call to ContentGetDetectString() to a content plugin. Unfortunately I cannot say with this report which plugin was causing it.
