TC 8.0 does not remember the folders from my last session
TC 7.x always restored the last folders I was viewing. TC 8.0 does not, even though the settings look the same. Have the settings changed?

All options are checked. Good suggestion, though.Horst.Epp wrote:So what is your setting under Operation / Save on Exit / Directories ?jkauff wrote:TC 7.x always restored the last folders I was viewing. TC 8.0 does not, even though the settings look the same. Have the settings changed?

You have to make sure that your setting files are placed in a folder where you have writing rights. You can see where your ini files are stored by clicking "Help" -> "About Total Commander".
You will normally not have writing rights if your ini files are placed in any subfolder to "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" (WIndows 7 x64)
