Multi_Rename to rename starting from the end of filename

Post by *AnthonyCian »

Below is a sample list of filenames that will always have 11 characters from the end of the filename. I want to rename the files so all the characters in names will not be cut off since those characters lengths are different. Can someone give me the formula on that please? Thanks, Anthony

Before:
Andorite04-009-4723.cif
Andradite04-007-0081.cif
Anglesite Syn04-012-0280.cif
Anhydrite04-007-6682.cif
Anorthite04-011-2504.cif
Antlerite04-011-0463.cif
Apatite04-009-1321.cif
Apophylite (flour)04-012-1950.cif

After:
Andorite.cif
Andradite.cif
Anglesite Syn.cif
Anhydrite.cif
Anorthite.cif
Antlerite.cif
Apatite.cif
Apophylite (flour).cif
