Cursor (Caret) width during file-renaming

Post by *CKYHC »

Hi,

probably I just didn't find the option, but:

Is it possible to increase the width of cursor during renaming a file (i.e. in text mode)?
So far different cursors can be selected dynamic in Windows - it should be technically possible.

Reason: on a big monitor with Full-HD resolution it's difficult to get the current cursor position when renaming file (i.e. Shift + F6) if nothing is selected.

Example: IWilll_rename_this_file_but_where_is_Cursor.txt

Some kind of cursor-width settings in pixels can be great, but even a "bright_cursor" option could be useful.

Wbr,
Andrey

System wide setting via Windows 7 Control Panel.

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the computer easier to see:
Set the thickness of the blinking cursor: [1..20]
