I copy a lot of files from within rar-archives to my other computer (witch is located at the attic) and since I updated from 7.55a to 8.01 it goes a LOT slower. Weird thing is that total commander gives 100% done and is just sitting there doing nothing. As if it hangs even. After killing the process and then checking the file on the network drive, it turns out the unpack/copy has already completed. Why total commander is waiting a long time after is completely beyond me.
I degraded back to 7.55a and now everything is ok again. I was planning on downloading 8.0 to see if that has the same problems, but I couldn't find that version downloadable from trusted sites.

Please try the different unrar.dll files. There is very little difference between the unrar code in TC 7.55a and 8.01, so it would be good to know where your difference comes from.
Btw, are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of TC 8.01?

Just use the unrar dll from www.rarlab.com (that's what I'm using myself too).
