FTP connect: lossing connection while browsing server files

This is very strange it started happening after i upgraded to faster internet

- total cmd connect normally to server via FTP connect
- while accessing sub directories on server (always on any 3rd sub directory)i loose connection (error sound while trying to click server side files )
- then after 15-30 sec dialog pops up "connection lost reconnect ? "

everything worked fine before upgrade and i didn't change any settings

Sounds like there is a router/firewall in the route to the server with a very short timeout. Try using keep alive for this connection (Ctrl+F - Edit connection).
