Confirmation dialogue when drag and dropping files into TC

Post by *About:blank »

Hello TC Community,

I'm relatively a new TC user, and while I've invested quite a significant amount of time in learning and customizing TC to my liking, I still have a lot to learn.

I have one small issue with dragging and dropping files from Explorer or any other program (Thunderbird for example) into TC that I haven't find a "solution" to.
Whenever I attempt to copy/move a file from Explorer/any other software into TC via drag and drop a confirmation dialogue box pops up and I have to click Yes in order to continue.
This creates an unnecessary step that I would love to eliminate. Is there a way to disable this confirmation dialogue box?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I use Windows 8 (x64) and TC (x64) 8.01 portable version.

Thank you

Just untick option "Configuration - Options - Misc: Get confirmation before ... Drag&Drop"

Oh, wow! Thank you very much.
I don't know how I missed that when going through the option menus as it is right there on plain sight.

Thanks again.

Your mind probably played a trick on you, and you were looking for something to "enable" instead of something to disable --- and you mentally (subconsciously) paid little attention to the items that were already checked.
*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.
