Hide selected files

Post by *daniloz »

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's a way in Total Commander to hide just some selected files from listing?

More concretely, I want to hide all files/folders that start by a point (.), i.e. configuration files/folders.

Is it possible in Total Commander? I'm using the latest and greatest version (8.x).

Thx!

Not possible to hide selected files, only unselected. But you can invert the selection and hide the unselected.
For hiding particular files, you can define view filter, something like *.*|.*

Also ignore list feature exists in TC, it allows to exclude specified files from processing (list, copy, move etc). Configuration - Ignore list, add fliter .*. You can always turn ignore list feature on/off via command cm_SwitchIgnoreList.
