Board inserts postings twice

Post by *Horst.Epp »

First I was thinking its my fault, but I'm see it from others too.
I make a reply and this gets doubled.
Also the botton for deleting a post is missing in most of this cases.
I'm using Chrome version 29.

No problem with Firefox either. Any idea why this is happening with Chrome? Does it send the "POST" request twice?

I noticed an increase in double posts. As moderator, I have deleted several lately.

It is interesting that forum prevents multiple Submit button clicks but they do doubleposting anyway. :)

Maybe it has something to do with the time between 2 duplicate posts. If I remember correctly I saw like 6 minutes between duplicate posts.

Then maybe these people just type some text, submit it and then go back in order to fix and submit again?

Then there would be two different posts, not duplicates. I check possible duplicate posts very carefully.

Not spammers, but regular users. I don't remember which people were involved.

I think, if I delete a duplicate post before you poll your rss feed, you will not know there was a duplicate.
