multi drive search

Post by *Captain Quack »

with older versions I was able to go and edit the wincmd.ini to set it to default to search all local drives. did a clean install for the first time in who knows how many years and no wincmd.ini file to edit. what can I do to set the search default to all drives now?

In Total Commander go to Help => About and find the location of your current wincmd.ini file.
Apart from that launch <Alt><F7> in order to launch the search tool. Then press <F1> and look for ways of saving and loading pre-configured search options.
Time to read the Total Commander helpfile carefully after many years of ignoring it.
