cm_FileSync problem - 'root' FTP fails. Problem-cascade

Howdy, All,

I have a problem-cascade.

SFTP logging in as 'root' works, but apparently cm_FileSync doesn't work using SFTP.

FTP logging in as 'markfilipak' works for the share: \home\markfilipak\, but I can't successfully log in as 'root'.

'markfilipak' and 'root' have the same password.

I guess I need help. Anybody?

Synchronization with SFTP works here, except "by content".

Disallowed root login for FTP is pretty common default on Unix servers. And unless you use SSL, it's very bad idea to change it, because that way root password would go over the wire in plain text and anyone on the way could sniff it.
