Sync dirs: compare by content also size-identical files
In synchronize dirs with compare by content option checked there would be a great option to pair files also by size with ignoring names. Pairing process would pair by identical name first, then remaining files by identical size and then others. It becomes that some files have been renamed and then there are duplicates that are not detected during comparing because of different names. What do you think?
ado, I know that search option. But in syncdirs it would be much clearer and user-friedly + the function would be a little bit diffrent (in what is compared).
In syncdirs:
- user exactly knows what is compared, what is at right and what is at left (better orientation).
- only two dirs compared - there is undesirable to compare files within one dir (as it is done in search duplicates). Syncdir compare only between right and left, not within right or within left, and this is right thing.
- user would not have to analyse where the files are and if they are neccesary or not (redundant). If it is organized in right<-> left layout, it is much clearer to decide.
Thats why search duplicates also by size would be great to be implemented in syncdir interface.
