Shortcut icon changes both windows

Post by *tcebob »

I made a shortcut icon "cd c:\progs" which changes both windows to c:\progs. There are a couple of other similar ones for c:\program files and c:\down which work as expected. What's wrong and how can I fix it?

But wait! There's more! I made an similar icon with only one difference: the location of the icon image was in a different directory than c:\progs. This one worked fine.

The image for the icon in question is in a subdirectory of the c:\progs\totalcmd directory (\icons\progman). How this could affect both windows eludes me. Other images from the same location do not have this effect.

tcebob,
If you mean a button in the Button Bar, the Start Path field must be empty.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yes. I have never entered the start path for cd before, but did so here. Removed it and all is well. Thanks much.
