Configuration - Options - Operation - Ignorelist
As described in other thread, ignorelist allowed to hide folders or files from TC not from File Explorer (i.e., windows). My intended question is whether there is a way to hide/unhide folders or files from Windows via TC.
I understand that there are a few programs for doing that (I am currently using "folder lock"). I was curious whether TC has such a function other than ignorelist.

Well, if you ask the wrong question...

Back to your intended question, the answer is NO.
TC is a standalone filemanager (you may run it without any installation from a portable USB drive).
TC will not modify a OS related mechanic or link into any DLL.
Conclusion:
- If you want files to hide at TC, use TC rules (e.g. ignorelist)
- If you want files to hide at Windows, use Windows rules (e.g. policy rules or just registry entries)
For the latter you may ask at a MS Windows forum or just google for it ...
