Different file size on 2 similar PCs ?

I have 2 Pcs which are more or less the same:
Windows 7 Pro 64bit and the same file give different file sizes.
(Using the same version of TC)

1,018,776 k
vs.
994,898 k

How can it be ?

It seems one is shown using KB and the other using KiB.

To see the truth, just show the filesize in plain bytes.
(Configuration - Options - Display - Tabstops - Size display: bytes)
