Can I count the number of files in multiple archives

Post by *yuyuxuan »

When I open a .7z document, I will see the number of files immediately.
Then I have thousand archives. How can I count the number of files totally by using TC.
Thanks.

1. Select archives

2. Alt+F7 Search...

3. a. Search for: --> empty or *
b. [v] Only search in selected directories/files --> checked
c. [v] Search archives --> checked

4. Start search

5. Wait a moment, you will see [xxxx files and yyyy directories found]
xxxx includes the number of archives, and this way is not very fast...
