Assignable "Load Searches" hotkeys

Post by *ymmv »

In my years of using Total Commander I've created quite a number of custom searches. It's one of my favorite TC features, because it allows me to search in multiple separate directories at the time.

I just wish it could be more streamlined. When I hit ALT+F7 for the Find Files feature it takes four clicks to load a search and go back to the general tab. It would be so much more convenient if I could assign hotkeys to my favorite stored searches, then I'd hit hit ALT+F7 and ALT-1 (or something like that) to load a specific search in just one click.

I think this would be a very nice new feature for power users who use the "load searches" option a lot.

Well, there is an internal LOADSEARCH command, can't you use that?

ymmv,
To be more clear, you need to:
1. Create an em-command (open cm_CommandBrowser and usercmd.ini group there). Use mentioned LOADSEARCH command for this em-command.
2. Assign a hotkey for created em-command on Misc. configuration page.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
