Synchronize empty directories - display directories as such

Post by *Lefteous »

When synchronizing empty directories the synchronize confirmation dialog treats directories as files which is quite confusing.

Could you please differentiate files and folders there? If necessary the dialog must be enlarged a bit.

No it doesn't. There is a checkbox "Empty dirs" which allows to sync empty directories. You can uncheck this if you don't want it.

This thread is about something else.

You can see there is one file and one empty directory in the compare result window. In the sync dialog it says '2 files' which is wrong and confusing.

Yes that would be better than now as non-empty dirs have never been reported as sync objects.
On the other hand it seems strange to repot that nothing is synched if only empty dirs are synched. So maybe it's better to report dirs as synch objects.
