Unattended Installation of Total Commander

Post by *CADweazle »

Hi everybody

Just now I managed to inject my changed install.inf's in the Installation package (http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=294901#294901)
I'm aware of the settings in the .INF

But - is it possible to deploy a changed wincmd.ini to all users, so that they can change them by themselfes (iniloc=%APPDATA%\GHISLER).
You see: Because users are not Admins on the machine!!
I've inserted a changed wincmd.ini of course... but it is stays in the Destination-Dir.

I'd like to have it copied to the iniloc from every user when he starts TC the first time, maybe the line "Ini=wincmd.ini,Configuration,InstallDir" could help?

Cheers!

You can use a batch script to do that. IIRC I posted instructions somewhere in the German forum, since you have to consider existing users as well as new users.

@ Dalai

THX!
Feared so - and hadn't searched close enough in the forum...

So I'll do this job via a MS AD-GPP

Cheers!
