FTP: what is --FEAT HELP SITE-- good for?

When use FTP TC send this command:
FEAT
HELP SITE
Why? do it is need?

Why? do it is need?

TC needs to know which commands or features he can use for this FTP server.

FEAT : Hello FTP server, tell me which FEATURES do you support

Answer: I support HELP SITE

TC uses this for example to determine whether the server supports MFMT to set the remote file time when uploading, or whether the server supports function to get the file checksum (XMD5, XSHA1 etc) for synchronize by content.
