Ctrl+D no longer brings up the Directory Hotlist

Post by *malialicol »

Somehow Ctrl+D no longer brings up the Directory Hotlist.
I love TC to bits, but I'm not too bright with regards to it's inner workings.
Could this be restored somehow? Or else find or set a shortcut that would do the same?

Many Thanks!!

What happens instead?

You may want to take a look which other program registered Ctrl+D using Windows Hotkey Explorer (not to mix up with Hotkey Commander).

I think Ctrl+D may be assigned to some action within TC. Ctrl+D doesn't look like a hotkey that some program may register globally (it is too simple).

@ Dalai: Thanks for pointing me to Windows Hotkey Explorer. That showed the culprit. Problem solved

@MVV: Hard to believe that another program would so unceremoniously take over this simple short-cut on a global level, but it did...

Thanks, guys.

Would you mind telling us which program registered this hotkey (and perhaps how you solved the issue)? This may help other people with a similar problem as well.

Culprit

I used Windows Hotkey Explorer to identify which programmed owned the short-cut. I remember installing this simple utility recently, but it was not what I was looking for. So I uninstalled it & then the problem was solved.

However, I can't remember what it was called.... :x
