I have licensed TC. It comes on a CD. I don't have a drive, nor do any friends or family nearby. How can I install? Must I really, I mean, really, in 2016 buy an external CD drive to install TC?
I am a very satisfied user of TC on my Android phone, exchanging data with Windows 10. -jim-

Hi and welcome, James .
No, you don't.James Gallagher wrote: Must I really, I mean, really, in 2016 buy an external CD drive to install TC?
Just download the setup from http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm
The key to bypass the start question dialog [1] [2] [3] can be send by mail to you too.
If you don't get it already, please contact by e-mail: support at ghisler dot com

Ask mr. Ghisler to send you your wincmd.key via e-mail, TC you can download from http://www.ghisler.com/amazons3.php

Thank you both for your replies. The key information, which I had not found by searching quite intensively, is that Ghisler will send the wincmd.key file by e-mail, if requested(?). I am trying that. I hope it works from my new e-mail address (new because I could not even register on this forum from my gmail address).
I guess remarks on the documentation should be directed elsewhere, but I think Ghisler could save time and trouble by explaining this somewhere.

Please contact me by e-mail and include your name, address, and the license number printed on the CD.
We normally send a CD by e-mail too when you order online, but GMail often deletes our mails or moves them to the SPAM folder. Only replies to mails you send to us are guaranteed to go through. This has been the case for more than 2 years now, and it's impossible to contact anyone at GMail to fix it.
