[TC 9 All] Some R-Click contextmenu lost in drive root path

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[TC 9 All] Some R-Click contextmenu lost in drive root path

Post by *thomasmo »

Some Option like FastCopy or "put into Libray"(what put the folder in to Libray) lost after I clicked r-button on a drive root, but on other path, they are in the menu.

and in MS' explorer, they can work in root path.

Can't confirm. I've right-clicked drive root everywhere: in drive bar, in path bar or in panel empty space while I'm in root dir, and library submenu was always there. Tested in 9.0b8/Win7x64.

Well, I can confirm to get a slightly different context menu by clicking on a empty space on the path bar
- at "c:\" I get fewer items (I guess for drive c )
- at "c:\users" I get more items (I guess for the folder "users")
and in MS' explorer, they can work in root path.
Sorry but I find no way to get a context menu at root path in Win explorer on Win7.

I also use FastCopy but for what reason should I need an context entry in the root path of a drive ?

Not for me, because as I said its useless.
All necessary context menu entries are the same for me under Explorer and TC.

TC calls the context menu in the same way in the root and in subfolders. Since other externsions do not have this problem, it must be a bug in FastCopy. Try contacting the author(s).
