After viewing desktop in Windows 10 (e.g. WINDOWS+X) I can't return to the present session of my TC. ALT+TAB shows a very diminished picture of TC but nothing happens when selected.
I have to start a new session of TC and remove the previous from Task Manager. Selecting TC from the task bar also works.
Unabled to return to TC after viewing Desktop

Hmm, Here it is Win+D that shows the Desktop on Windows 10 - Not Win+X (it opens the Quick Link Menu) - and I have no problem going to TC with Alt+TAB.
Maybe you have enabled: Configuration -> Options -> Operation -> "Move icon to system tray when minimized"
In that case you may have to press Enter after you have selected TC using Alt+TAB - or press Alt+TAB on more time.

Can you see TC's Icon in the system tray - it might be hidden under the up-arrow to the left of the system tray - maybe that makes a difference.

I recommend that you don't use the system tray option on Windows 10 any more - Windows 10 uses relatively small icons in taskbar, so the needed space is no longer a big problem as e.g. on XP.
