i remember sometime ago , that tc saved a file in every partitions when i switch to tree view mode
does it still do it? no right?
and which was the last version that save a file containing data using the tree mode view?

No, tree view panel is created dynamically, except when using OldStyleTree=1. However, the Alt+F10 tree always uses a stored tree.

treeinfo.wc in the root of the drive, if that location is writable. Otherwise it will be stored in the same place as the icon cache, usually under local app data\ghisler.
