add custom function key buttons

add custom function key buttons
Is it possible to add function key buttons like add button bar.
excuse for my poor english 
I mean can TC add this function in future?
TC can almost custom any where,why not function bar.
with wide screen,function bar is very long and waste space.
I know we can call all function with button bar.
but function bar is different idea and mouse click function bar is faster than button bar.
