weird behaviour of the rubber band selection

Post by *bagou01 »

Hi
this is driving me crazy and i don''t know when this started:
say i'm on another software, i switch screen to TC then click on a file to drag it to my previous software (example : i'm on photoshop, i make alt-tab to go to TC to click on a pic i want to drag to photoshop) but clicking on the file only begins a rubber band.
this is what should happen when i click on a blank space, launch a rubberband, but when my first click is on a file this is driving me crazy to the point i'll disable rubber band completely.
is there a way to have it back to normal behaviour? clicking on a file selects and drags that file, and clicking in blank lanches a rubberband select.
thanks a lot

Here. if I just click on the file name itself or at the file icon, I can drag it - but if I click on the empty space to the right of the file name, rubberband selection is started.

You can also disable rubberband selection via menu Configuration - Options - Operation - Mouse selection mode.
