Icon for packed files

Post by *Dominik »

Example:
1.NO plugin for TotalCMD loaded
2.Icon of CHM (help) file is same as Windows uses

1.CHMDir plugin for TotalCMD loaded
2.Icon of CHM becomes different, the one which is in totalcmd.exe or in the specified ICL.

So i want to use this "pack" icon only for ZIP,RAR,ACE.... and not for files like CHM,LST,REG (if plugin for them loaded of course)

Is it possible?

Yes, it's possible. Total Commander plugin interface allows this, for example, it's realized in MultiArc plugin.
You should ask plugin author to implement this feature.

Hmm I think this should be controlled in TotalCMD,not in each plugin.Asking 10 authors of plugins to use system default icon aint very good idea.Isn't there some simple "hack" i can do in the plugin file? e.g. i replace 3 chars or so,and it will force the plugins to use windows default icon?
