Customizing brief view

I want to hide extension & size columns, changing horizontal scroll to vertical but seems none of them possible. Any way to do them?

The default columns views in TC (Full and Brief) can't be customized. That's where the custom columns views come in. However, hiding columns is not wise (and hence not possible for the columns Name and Ext) because you wouldn't be able to sort by them.

FYI: While it is possible to not use the Size column view in a custom view, it is not possible to remove the Extension (and Name) column.
