Support for simple playlists in Lister

Post by *petermad »

It would be nice if the internal DirectShow player could support simple playlists like .m3u or .pls (maybe just with support for filenames)

Reason - we can play multiple files in Lister with F3 or Shift+F3 or cm_List or cm_ListMulti but it is impossible to play a list of files if one wants to run Lister as a separate instance by the command line parameter /S=L

And how is your request fundamentally different from yesterday's?

They are both good ideas. In yesterday's he suggested a way to add tracks to an already running player. In this request he suggests to open a play list file as the individual tracks. Btw, both of these things are already supported in the Android player (TC for Android).
