Another user button bar at the bottom

Post by *Marc23 »

I searched the suggestion history (but didn't go very far back). If this suggestion has already been proposed, delete this topic.

Would it be possible to put another user button bar but at the bottom ?

The reason for putting it at the bottom is that if you shrink the window, the top bar goes on two lines, which makes it a bit messy.
If we add a bar at the bottom, the leftmost icons are still visible.

Personally, I don't show the bottom function bar (F3, F4, F5 etc) anymore (yes after 20 years...). So I'd like to use this space.

Even better would be to make something like "ButtonBar eXtended" a proper built-in feature of TC.

I tried it years ago and found the setup to complicated,
at least for me.
Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4351)
TC 11.55 RC6 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1395a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.5.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88
QAP 11.9.0.3 x64

My point exactly - "ButtonBar eXtended" is a very nice feature (I use it extensively), but, yes, it's a bit fiddly to set up. That's why it would be really good if TC 11 could implement similar functionality in an easier to use format.
