Search for double files does suddenly not work anymore - please help

Hello,
the search function
Search for files --> extended --> search for double files --> equal plugin fields --> [=tc.Name]
does suddenly not work anymore. Please help - I urgently need this funktion back.

(auf Deutsch: die Suche
Dateien suchen --> Erweitert --> Suche nach doppelten Dateien --> gleiche Pluginfelder --> [=tc.Name]
funktioniert plötzlich nicht mehr. Ich brauche diese Funktion dringend, und bitte daher um schnelle Antwort.

Error message: Function not supported.
TC Version: 11.03, Windows 10.

I get an error message when this option is selected on the General tab:
Search archives (all except for UC2)

This means that at least one of the two file panels shows a location where this function doesn't work, for example in a virtual folder like the network or a connected Android device.

Neither nor. It's a simple folder with single files in it, all pictures (raw and jpg).

Sorry for the delay in my answer, I did not get any notification about your replies.

As I wrote above, de-marking the search in archives function on the general tab makes it work. I never had this problem before, but of course I always have a number of tabs open, one of those pointing to a virtual folder that is actually not connected. Very strange, that the function does not work in another tab which has nothing to do with the VF tab. For me it works now, thanks to everybody for your help!

Not at all strange. It doesn't matter if there really are archives present. TC already knows that it can't execute the search with these search parameters. Hence the error message.

Upon opening the "Find Files" dialog TC shows an exclamation mark next to the "Search archives" option. It does this to tell the user what to expect: slow(er) searches, and an unsupported combination of search parameters in some cases.

Not sure. I couldn't find anything in the TC help about it but that doesn't mean it's not in it. I think I read it somewhere on the forum.
