[TC 11.50b3] Tree view: when deleting a folder, the cursor does not move up if it was the first time after a restart

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Tree view: when deleting a folder, the cursor does not move up if it was the first time after a restart
  • Start TC
  • Enable Tree view (Ctrl+F8)
  • Delete a folder in the tree panel
The cursor stays in place and does not move up.
  • Delete another folder in the tree panel
    Now the cursor moves up
I think it is meant to always move up, due to this change:
HISTORY.TXT wrote: 12.04.24 Fixed: When deleting a directory in tree view, the cursor would sometimes jump two lines down. Instead, jump one line UP (32/64)

I encounterd the same issue.
At first, the cursor stay in after deleting a folder. // the next line before deleting
After that, the cursor moves up after deleting a folder.
