No... I got it from somewhere.... some page...
I don't do 3D modeling for now. Only 2d-8d music, 2d graphics & video.

What is the best way to create an avatar? Can i use imagine plugin to convert an image to an avatar?

I use IrfanView. Load an image and press Ctrl-R to resize: enter there 100x100 size (or whatever max size is allowed here) and choose best quality.

Thanks Alextp. Basically i just have to resize an image, so Imagine should do it also.
I don't have IrfanView installed and i use imagine all the time to view images.

For PNG avatars you should use IrfanView because of the PNGOUT plugin that produces very small PNGs:

You can also use XnView which has a compression level 10 included, but it's mostly not that effective as PNGOUT.
GIFs you can shrink with Trout's GIF Optimizer:

For JPG avatars you can use whatever you want.

That's why one uses PNGOUT standalone.
