TC8.50 - how to always search in the background?

Post by *zaffi »

I don't need to search in foreground at all;
how do I set Searching-for-files in the background (alt+f7) as default behavior ?

EDIT: found a workaround:
map the Alt+F7 to search in the background:

configuration > misc. > hotkeys > cm_search_standalone

Just for future reference, the command is:

Code: Select all

cm_SearchStandalone

I mostly edit my settings manually (using a text editor), I kept on entering cm_search_standalone earlier and nothing was happening! lol
