Drag the files a few pixels above the file list (onto the column headers or onto the tabs) 0 the file list will scroll to the left.
Hi Roman. Thanks, i knew that. The problem is that when there are many files in the dir and you are in the middle of the list, selecting several files you may want to move "up", scrolling (apart that it may be slow to scroll up to the top) just ruins everything. You keep going back and forth all the time. The "drop on the '..' button" idea assumes that the file move process will keep the selected file pointer after the last selected file (which may be in the middle of the list) and not scroll you up to the top. That way you can select a few files, move them, then scroll downwards to select other files to move, making the parsing the whole folder relatively easy.
It should work more-or-less as MVV's 2nd idea but have the same behavior as when dropping to the ".." item inside the file panel. As is now, you either select some files and use F6, .., Enter, or open the parent folder in the other panel and press just F6, Enter. Both solutions use the keyboard. What i'm proposing is a mouse-only one. As i said earlier,
seems like not too much trouble, i hope it actually is and Christian decides to include it in TC.
