How to search below to 4 level in windows 10?:
c:\users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles has a folder
myfolder1 and totalcommander did not find the folder myfolder1.
Why?:
c:\users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\myfolder1
is invisible for TotalCommander?

Maybe you got the parent wrong? There should be a space between "Program" and "Files":
c:\users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files
These folders are created by Windows for legacy programs which try to write to "c:\Program Files", which is write protected. If a program signals that it is Windows 7-compatible (or newer), writing to "c:\Program Files" will just fail instead.

TC can find only this "somefolder" in level 4:
c:\users\username\somefolder
If it's deeper it can not find.
Can TC developers fix it?
For me TC finds entries even much deeper (with and without Everything)AdamAry wrote:It's not wrong.ghisler(Author) wrote:Maybe you got the parent wrong? There should be a space between "Program" and "Files":

One of the folders in the path may be hidden or system. If this is the case, you need to enable hidden and/or system files in Configuration - Options - Display.
