unable to make file operations on pre-saved paths

Post by *chao »

There is a bug on pre-saved paths like "\\Desktop\" that you can reach trough the address bar.

E. g. when you choose "\\Desktop\" or other pre-saved paths i'm unable to make file operations, like generating sha sums...

"\\Desktop\" is a virtual folder - so not all functions are supported - often because of restrictions from the OS.

I disagree, it's a bug, besides it's uncomfortable, you are choosing a specifed file that has an absolute path, but the wrong path is transfered. (in case you are generating sha sum)

TC also try to write the file instead of give an info/warning message.

... and it will not be changed (see at Forum section TC Behaviour which will not be changed for similar threads.

No, you are choosing files with a path beginning with "\\Desktop"!
This is a virtual folder.

If you want to work with a real path, just use "cd %$DESKTOP%" instead
