[solved] Cursor doesn't jump to new file after Shift+F5 copy
Preiviously in TC (also in earlier 7.50 betas) the cursor jumped to the new file if I use Shift+F5 to copy a file in the same panel.
In TC 7.50pb8 it is no longer like that - this change is not mentioned in history.txt - so I consider it a bug.

That doesn't seem to be of importance here...if the new file is higher in the list

Cannot reproduce (using Watchdirs=51 all the time). What Watchdirs settings do you use?

I am also using watchdirs=51.
But I can also reproduce it with a fresh ini-file, wich means WatchDirs=0

So where does the cursor go when it doesn't go to the target?

It is quite weird. If I start wit a fresh ini file and Shift+F5 copy a file in the root of C: then the cursor stays on the old file. If I instead goes to a subdir ad do a Shift+F5 copy then the cursor goes to the new file! And if I then goes back to the root of C: and does the Shift+F5 copy then the cursor now correctly goes to the new file.
But if I restart TC with the new ini file then doing Shift+F5 copy in the root again leaves the cursor on the old file. I so it is every time I retart TC with that ini file.
Then comes the most weird thing. If I do a Shift+F5 copy in the root of drive E: the cursor moves to the new files - and after doing that the cursor also moves correctly when doing Shift+F5 copy in the root of C: - also after restart.
So with this ini file the cursor does not move when doing a Shift+F5 copy in the root of C:
But with this ini file, the cursor corretcly moves to the new file when doing a Shift+F5 copy in the root of C:
I will investigate some more.

Can confirm this behavior. It is quite weird. If I start wit a fresh ini file and Shift+F5 copy a file in the root of C: then the cursor stays on the old file. Seems to be root (C: ) related.
(could reproduce it always on root with empty ini)
